Life Shapes are images from nature. Shapes suggested after a research of the natural world but reinterpreted through a personal point of view.

They are not only reproductions of stems, plants or animals. They speak about a process, their delicate way to give life their imperceptible growth, their transience. They reflect the constant interest the human being has shown for nature and in a way, they expose the profitable relation we have established with the natural world.

Nature not only inspires beautiful shapes but disturbing ones establishing a dual and ambiguous relationship. That makes us perceive it as something unexplored and mysterious.

These pieces have been created from this starting point with an essential element: glass. It looks like a fragile material but full of textures and colours while preparing and elaborating it. This gives glass that magic component that reminds us of the alchemy antique techniques.
